This event is known for drawing BBQ’ers from all over the nation, each cooking up the best ribs, pork, chicken, and beef brisket for a shot at some of the  $25,000 in prizes & money.

The estimated 85 cooking teams this year will come from as far away as Texas and the Dakota’s, South Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia and Mid-South surrounding states.

If KCBS competition doesn’t light up your coals, how about the “Anything But” contest with a $1000 grand prize or show us how good your ribs are in the “Backyard Rib” competition.  There’s even a contest for the best “Dessert” and “BBQ Sauce” and don’t forget the Kids Cooking contest.
